THE JOURNEY

 

Please be aware that if coming from the North, Paris - Lyon- Orange... the GPS often plans your journey through Aix en Provence!

You can shorten the trip considerably and avoid traffic jams by taking the following directions.

Exit at SENAS (exit 26) and follow directions to PERTUIS.

Once on the SENAS-PERTUIS road, redirect your GPS to Valensole (so you don't travel all the way to PERTUIS) back onto the highway GAP SISTERON.

Follow until the MANOSQUE exit (GPS often recommend Greoux) and follow direction VALENSOLE to your right after leaving the freeway.

If coming from Manosque, don't drive all the way to the village, turn right (chemin du Riou) just after the CARREFOUR EXPRESS shopping centre (on your right) then take the second left (chemin des abeilles).

From the village, direction Manosque then turn left BEFORE the CARREFOUR EXPRESS shopping centre.

This way you will avoid major traffic apart from possibly a large herd of sheep crossing the road!
